Default 55 players - do I need to pay more attention to time of day than at 33

I am currently making the move up from 33s to 55s..

Do I need to pay more attention to the # of people online/time of day I play to keep a good running ROI or is it really still not that important like it was at the 33s?

Really?

You think they are easier cause of the tightness of the players?

Hmm.. I just don't know if I am mentally ready to play 55s yet and deal with the swings...

Can you elaborate on this raptor? I've begun dabbling in the 55s, but only played 5 tournies so far, so no conclusions yet. Also, if you don't mind, I'd love to hear how your approach to the 55s differs from that of the 33s (or, you can point me towards a thread that discusses this.)

I haven't played enough $55s to really know, but don't you find the $33s are generally quite different at different times?

in my experience, the 30+3s are much tighter than the 50s.. or even the 100s (very limited experience in 100s tho)

Bunch of nut cases in the 50s atm. I can only guess that maybe they're checking my stats and realising that I'm probably pushing with any 2, think it's a good idea to call all in with J6o

Variance is the biggest difference.

55s are not easier than the 33s. Raptors scored some beer or something.

I don't pay any attention to that time of day crap.

although i dont have a significant 33 sample, i did play around 300 of them when i first started 8 tabling a few months ago, and i remember them being quite a bit tighter in the early stages than the 55s. also, the bubble calls were pretty bad too, but that makes things difficult for us push bots. in the 55s, people still try to sneak into the money. in the 33s, people seem more willing to gamble it up. i duno, again, i havent played that many 33s, especailly lately. however, i do think the 55s are so damn easy that you are foolish for not moving up. take a shot, it may work out for ya holla
