Fade my Picks
What a horrible weekend. Here's what I was on. I think I'll just stick to poker since its something I'm pretty good at. I flat out suck at picking winners.
Titans +7.5 Jets +7 Chiefs -1.5 Nice choke job Cards -2 Whoo I won one Vikings +6 Ugh And tonight, Packers +8 and the over. So if you want easy money take Carolina and the under. |

Re: Fade my Picks
The problem is I have no clue how to get better. I have no system, and my gut feeling or stealing someone elses picks is just not getting it done. There are no good books on handicapping and for good reason. Why would someone want to give away handicapping secrets. Poker is easy money compared to handicapping the NFL. This is rough.

Poker is easy money compared to handicapping the NFL. This is rough. [/ QUOTE ] This is very true because poker is full of bad players and when you bet sports, you're playing against the best in the linesmakers in the world. It takes a lot more dedication and a lot more losing sessions. |

[/ QUOTE ] precisely.. not to mention the edges that can be played for in poker are far better most times odds wise then the edge your trying to play for with betting no sports. It takes a change of mindset to get used to the losing in sports betting that is bound to happen. Although i havent found a magic system, or a place I can consistently coattail picks from, or whatever I have learned more about bankroll management, price shopping, etc.. which seems to be enough to take me from slowly losing to at the least keeping my head above water. Sportsbetting seems to be more challenging to me, but as my boredom from consistently beating SNG's on pstars grows, my hunger to be a winning sports bettor increases.
