yeah, that's why I'd pay $300 for a used 2001 instead of buying the 2045 or whatever new... I'd go play party only if I had to but I'm so addicted to 1600x1200 for everyday use that I can't give it up... I 9-table the party beta on my little tiny 15in laptop display and I think my eyes are going to fall out.

Someone please sell me thier old 2001fp for a good price so that my health won't be ruined (as quickly). Think of the children. You didn't say no by changing the channel.

heres a somewhat related monitor question, if i buy a 2001 fp, can i hook it up to my laptop and run some tables on the fp and some on the laptop screen (probably lobbies, aim, etc)? thanks

it will be 2560x1600 and the tables are 800x600, so 3x2.7, so 9 with a little overlap or 6 with about 30% of the screen free. if you flip the monitor sideways it will do 1600x2650, so you could fit 2x4 or 8 with a little left over on the bottom
