Stars bonus "brag" thread

Not so much bragging for me as I blew through $295 at $2/4 full to collect that sweet $120. Anyone have better luck?

I'm still 190 5+.50 SNG's short of clearing the bonus but I'm up $30.

Deposited $1000 and won $700 in an hour playing three short 5/10's. Only time these games are as good as partys is during the bonus periods.

Still time for me to blow it off tho. Only 150 hands towards bonus.

busted my 600 deposit, got the bonus then busted that too. i am the champion.

I guess I had some luck then after all your sad stories.

Deposit $600.

Played 3/6 for the first time ever. (Easier way to clear bonus than 2/4).

Down $150 after first 100 or so hands. Made it back to even and then up around $300.

Cashed out $1048. Pretty damn exciting. And got enough FPP to get a nifty stress star!

Would be even more if AA didn't get cracked on the river twice. Losing those $100 pots hurts. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

I realized aggression = amazing on Poker Stars. A flop checkraise and turn bet = Villian auto muck.

Lost about $500 in about 1 hour 4 tabling 3/6 after 10 2 outers among other bad beats. I was sitting with less then $100 total on four tables!! Not enough to play, so I tried to redeposit (first time I have ever almost busted out of a site), and find out that $600 is the max limit for 24 hours. WTF? So I decide to condense all $100 to 1 table and play 3 at GG to support them for a few hours.

Well, when players are chasing 2 outers so often, things can get better or worse real quick. 2 hours later, I am back up to $510 at Stars. This type of action is what Party 3/6 used to be like.

I have $500+ in bonus money and have yet to play a single real / play money hand at Stars. So far it seems to be the +EV decision.

I bought in for the 600, played 3 tables of 2/4 and cashed out for $789 including the bonus. God I hate stars, I'm a regular at party 2/4 and i've never been check-raised so much in my life as this session on stars. Every player good or bad just wants to check-raise on every street. They check-raise with something, they check-raise with nothing. Just hate the place, if it wasn't for the occasional bonus I see no reason at all to ever play there.
