Default Daily Tourneys in AC - Anyone Play Any?

I'm trying to decide between the Borgata 75+15 or the Taj 50+15 on Monday. Does anyone know what the turnout is like for either of these tournaments. I guess because it's Columbus Day can expect a few more faces. Any recommendations between the two?

Thanks,
Evan

The Borgata is running a $1000 buy-in for Columbus Day. You might want to call ahead to make sure their regular Monday tournament is even going that day. That'd make your decision easy if it wasn't.

Played both, I would say Taj gets a higher turnout.

I played the Taj nooner twice this summer. On a Friday, got about 180 players, Wednesday about 225. I don't know about Mondays, but it's a holiday and the USPC is wrapping up this weekend, so it could be huge.

On the theory that it might be huge, go and register early (registration opens 90 minutes before start). The Wednesday I was there this summer, there was still a line out the door through most of the first blind level (20 min). They only seat to the end of the first level, IIRC.
