Love Canada. Great place. Good health care. Can play kissey-facey-touchy with the strippers.

Canada rocks. They've got health care for all their people and 24s readily available at the local packy. The have lower crime, good productivity, enjoy a fair standard of living, don't seem to need to measure small arguments in inches and fists thrown and in general are amiable.

Turn 'em Mormon, get 'em breeding and send a few here eh.

JakeTheBake and I own all you dudes. Now that you mention it though, it's dropped into the 70s a couple times and it is a little chilly.

Many economists predict that within two decades, water will be traded around the world much as oil is now.
Canada contains more than 20% of the worlds fresh water resources. With its resources, they say, Canada is poised to become the richest nation on earth.

Dear Canadians:

In reference to your excellent free taxpayer funded healthcare, I give you this article dated 25 November 2005, easily found on Google:

"........."Many Canadians may also come down here for treatment that is not yet available at home or treatments that may have to wait some time to get at home."

The Mayo Clinic, based in Rochester, Minn., has seen its Canadian clientele grow over the past few years, with an estimated 1,500 to 2,000 of them travelling to its three clinics for care each year, said Misty Hathaway, the clinic's international relations administrator.

"It seems to relate to some access issues there," Ms. Hathaway said.

"And there is that issue of being able to address a lot of medical needs at one time in a very efficient way."

They also have a former patient -- a Canadian based in Thunder Bay -- who works their virtual Canadian office, returning telephone calls from the public."

In short, it would seem your health care sucks. Please stay home and die. American hospitals are for Americans.

In all fairness, isn't that like one of the top 3 hospitals in the US?

If you follow the link, the article is about a clinic in Cleveland.

I rest my case.

The Mayo Clinic is an amazing facility, and the people who come down here are the people who can afford US health care (or can bill it to NHS).

Nobody argues that US health care isn't excellent, if you can pay for it. Problem is tens of millions of people can't. Though people do, successfully, argue that even those with limitless health budgets don't get their money's worth.

Nice strawman. Take it to politics.

Actually I don't think any Canadians have said we like our healthcare in this thread. I know I'm not happy with it currently, could be a lot better.
