How much do I raise AKo in the BB (level 2)
Probably a very standard situation, but I'm not sure how much I raise here, because my position sucks and there are a lot of limpers.

raise 125 and if called, evaulate your holding on on the flop depending on how many people call. obviously if no Ace or King flops, it's easy to get away from. my point is, narrow the field with you raise and get some of the limpers out of there. the blinds are still low enough to where people are trying to get in with hands like suited connectors. make 'em pay.

Buy-in dependant, but I give strong consideration to a push here. 165 in the pot and nobody has shown any strength. If I don't push, I make it between 175-200 and push a lot of flops if im HU.

you raise big because of your poor position and the fact that no one has shown strength - I raise the size of the pot plus more, maybe 200 here. In this situation you are happy to fold everyone and rake in all those limp bets, and as an added bonus they will respect your blind in future rounds.
If you get a weaker caller, even cooler. If one of those limpers was AA - oh well, they'll get what they deserve another day. - w

I say push here. If you raise smallish like 125 you may get multiple callers and will be in a tough spot if the flop misses you. If you raise bigger like 175-200 you may get only one caller which is better but still uncomfortable if you miss the flop. Heads up, about 550 in the pot and you out of position with 575 left, ugly. Get it in now.
