I've never played a $33, I'm still at the $11s.

There, I don't call the 100 raise, I reraise it to ~225. From there I call any all-in, and push any reraise.

That might be why I'm still at the 11s

I like your fold, at the time you folded - at that point you had helped create the bad situation you were now dealing with.

Yeah, maybe AA was out there, maybe not. More likely not. Instead of your call, I raise to 300 or 400, more likely the latter. Bet you get called or reraised by AK or even AQ more often than not. You have KK, get your money in there! - w

EDIT: On a few nanoseconds reflection, realizing it is early, I like the 250-300 raise instead - though if the button pushes I probably call. Life is short.

No I definitely agree with that except I would probably do a 175 or 200 bet in that if an ace flops I can get away a bit cheaper. In this situation I would probably fold to the reraise, I just hate to be all in against two other people here. Against an underpair and an Ax you are a bit over 50% to win it. That means in these situations a little less than half the time you will lose out on the chance to place.

For me it's a annoying fold but one I prefer.

I usually raise preflop with KK but with the first raiser I thought I could see the flop, and let him bet and then re-raise as long as it was ace free.

Got to bet that though for a lot of reasons. Bet more, you want them to know you got something

If i were you i would of bet atleast the ammount of the pot. You have 2nd best hand and too many people in it to be comfortable, even if they fold you still get a few chips to sit on still early in the tourney. I suspect he was scooping blinds while somewhat low stacked. What kind of hands was he showing down, solid better, a little more info on this "ed" guy might help a little. Anywho, even early in these tourneys people like to go all in with an AK AQ so even if u did call you woulda had him down to close to 20%. sorry if sentence structure and spelling are not great, im tired and hope i helped with my input.
