Should I have said anything here?
I was playing yesterday at the Tropicana and I saw that the dealer had dealt an Ace of Spades to the big blind. I had already mucked my hand but I said I saw the card. The dealer asked what it was and I told him. So the player turned the card over and it was the ace, so he got a new card. Then the player mucked his cards. The player was pissed especially because I wasn't in the hand anymore. He was really mad when the ace of clubs came up on the flop. Should I have kept quiet because I wasn't in the hand or did I do the right thing?

I agree that you shouldn't have said anything. You were out of the hand. What did it matter to you?

Re: Should I have said anything here?
why the hell did you do that? whats the point, you weren't even in the hand. you're lucky the player didn't beat your azz. what you did was plain retarded. even if you were still in the hand i still wouldn't of said anything. it's not your business, just keep your mouth shut, jeez.

Re: Should I have said anything here?
After the hand has ended, and the cards are being re-shuffled, you should mention to the dealer, "in the last hand, I could see one or two cards being dealt out". This will make him more conscious of how the cards are going out.
But don't mention it DURING live play, whether or not you're involved in the hand. |

Re: Should I have said anything here?
Why did you wait until after mucking to announce this?

I like it because you might have put the other player on tilt. Good job.

Re: Should I have said anything here?
I would have kept my mouth shut and watched for future occurences of sloppy dealing.
If I didn't see them, then I would just let it pass, but if it happened a lot, I would wait until the dealer was switched, and tell him privately - away from the table. |

Re: Should I have said anything here?
at my local b&m there was an issue with a card getting flipped over during the deal. it would have given the woman AA, but instead with her new card....A5. sucks for her and she was very upset, called the pit boss over, yelled, etc. nothing. rules are rules, it's a burnt card. this doesn't apply to you tho.
