Humorous Words (slang or otherwise)
Today I was in a bar watching the end of the NCAA games, and someone on Oklahoma State hit a key 3 point shot in the final minutes of the game. I hear random cheers and clapping in the bar, then out of nowhere I hear an emphatic BOO-YAH! from one of the bar's patrons.
Personally I think this word is hilarious when used in this context of genuine human emotion (bonus points for doing a fist pump while shouting it), and not when used by Stuart Scott or any of those posers. Nowadays I'd feel lucky to hear five legit 'boo-yah's per year. What are some other funny words that you don't hear often? |
