Default Call the river?

The BB is very tight and very aggressive. He had 3-bet my raises in LP from his BB a few times before.

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed)

Preflop: Guido is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Guido raises</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB 3-bets</font>, Guido calls.

Flop: (6.50 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">BB bets</font>, Guido calls.

Turn: (4.25 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, Guido checks.

River: (4.25 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
BB checks, <font color="#CC3333">Guido bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">BB raises</font>, Guido?

Thanks,

Guido

it is unfortunate we posted our hands at the same time

that said, I pay the bet off against one of these players expecting to see a weaker ace or bluff just enough to make it practically nuetral EV in the long run, and I get to see their cards and make a note.

Also, glad to see you posting hands again.

Look at the pot size and compare it to the bet. In this case ask yourself...do I have a 1 in 5 chance of winning this pot? Consider any reads you have of the villian. I've never played 10/20 so I have no idea how they play. If it's anything like 1/2 then I call it. What are you scared of? Villain having A/Q or A/J? If he has A/K he bets the turn.

I'd lay it down given the read.
