Default Super-basic question about 2nd pair, early in SNG.

Party $30/3, 15/30 blinds, everyone's around and I'm up to 980 in chips (from 800, duh).

4 limpers, I complete in the SB with A7s. BB checks.

Flop comes T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Check, check, 3rd limper (no reads, he has about 670 in chips left) bets 70 into this pot of 180.

I . . . ?????

How do I play it?

I'd fold because even though you might be ahead on the flop (which may not be the case) you might have to comitt alot of chips to your hand.
If you reraise him on the flop he might call you down either with a T a, a flush draw or a straight draw so it will be very hard to play the hand.

fold.

no reason to get involved with 2nd pair here. There are way too many people still in the pot, and way too many draws out there to make any kind of move here.

This isn't the place to be putting in chips in a $30 sng. Rein in those 6-max instincts!

I'd fold.

It's tough to do that . Weird going from beating 10/20 6-max and up to not having a freaking clue in a lousy $30/3 NL tourney. Talk about an ego check.

I did, however, fold. Felt dumb, glad I shouldn't have!
