Default Adjusting my SB play in 6 max games....

Your in the SB with the following hands, and the CO or Button (lets say Taggish) raise. Also assume if you 3 bet, its about 50/50 that the BB will come along. Whats your Line?

A9o?
ATs?
KTs?
KJo?
KQo?
JTs?
77?
22?
AJo?
A6o?

Maybe AT+, KQ, 88+.

I think I'm a bit passive in this area, but I don't see too much reason to get myself HU with another tag OOP unless I have a fairly solid hand that I can take to showdown.

Let me preface this by saying that (1) I am fairly new here, and (2) I play a 30/20/2.2 style, so my answers will probably be considerably different than many of the respected posters around here. But I think it might be interesting to post how a player with my stats would play these hands:

A9o? 3-bet or fold.
ATs? 3-bet.
KTs? usually call, sometimes 3-bet depending on how frisky button is.
KJo? 3-bet or fold.
KQo? 3-bet
JTs? usually call. sometimes 3-bet if I've been silent for a while.
77? 3-bet.
22? fold.
AJo? 3-bet.
A6o? usually fold. I might raise this against a worse opponent though.

I fully realize I may get thrashed for these lines, but that's how I play them.

EDIT: There are obviously meta-game decisions involved here too. If I've been getting run-over with cards, I'm more likely to fold A9o or KJo versus the times when I've been colddecked. Also - I assumed the TAG-raiser was on the button for all of these.

My standard line is that I'm ReRaising all except 22 and A6o - those I fold.

Since 50/50 BB coming along is very loose - I might have to raise a bit less and call with smaller pp's (maybe below 77) and smaller suited A's

Whats your Line?

[/ QUOTE ]

Small blind size makes some of my choices below different, but I'll answer as if it is a 1/2 sb.

Remember, even if I usually fold one of these hands, there is still a percentage (maybe as high as 30 or 40%) of the time that I 3bet or call...

A9o? usually fold
ATs? usually 3 bet
KTs? usually fold
KJo? usually fold
KQo? usually 3 bet
JTs? usually fold
77? always 3 bet
22? usually fold
AJo? always 3 bet
A6o? usually fold

Why are you adjusting your sb defense to 6 max games? It should be exactly the same as though it were full and Co or Button open raised

A9o? Easy 3 bet against a button raise, can go either way against a CO
ATs? Easy 3 bet
KTs? Prolly 3 bet
KJo? Prolly 3 bet
KQo? Easy 3 bet
JTs? Fold
77? Easy 3 bet
22? Player dependant. If he's the type of guy that plays fit or fold poker I 3 bet every time. If he's willing to peel often on the flop or get laggy on me, I fold
AJo? Easy 3 bet
A6o? Fold
