$11: Risking too much with jacks on level 3?

I'm starting to think that almost all of my hand help request posts are pretty obvious, and that I'm doing the right things, but I'm too results oriented to see it.

I'm results oriented because the results have not been so good. I usually go through all my hand histories but rarely find anything stupid. There must be some leaks that I'm not aware of, but I just can't find them. So instead I end up posting another semi-meaningless hand like this [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] .

Standard? This was not the first minraise from the mighty minraiser, so I was not really scared of him and the calling didn't show much strenght either. So I figured I have the best hand here and pushed hoping to take the pot right here.

I do this everytime with stacks around 600 on level 3, but is my stack this time too big to risk this early?

Well, with JJ, I'll pay 75 chips to take a look at the flop instead. Too many coinflips, too many overcards. With QQ, I'd push.

when it's so cheap for you to see the flop, and you'll be first to act, if you really want to push that shouldn't be a problem.

however, if the flop you see comes AK2 with some suit coordination, i think you'll be happy you just called.

Same if it comes AJ8 and your opponent has 88, A8/AJ/AT and woulda folded preflop.

Or if the flop comes 832r, you bet and get called down with AA or KK. Don't push here, call and play some poker. Learn how to get away from JJ if the flop betting is insane.

If the flop would be 832r, I don't think I would fold my overpair on $10+1 no matter what happened with two villains on the hand.

i dont like a call much at all. i push here. but havnt played 11's in a long while.
