I'm getting an iBook next week.

Am I also saying goodbye to online poker?

I think pokerroom.com supports mac. Not positive but I thought I read somewhere they did or were working to get there.

You can also get an emulation software that will allow you to run Windos on Mac. For poker purposes, it should work just fine.

I have only been using my Mac desktop for Poker since August when my Dell Laptop bit the dust.

You are limited to only Pokerroom and skins (Eurobet, Hollywood, and others), Pacific, Bugsys Room and Gamesgrid.
Pokerroom and skins have a high rake, but you can "find ways to get some of it back" and they do reloads often. The java client isnt too bad once you get used to it.

Ive heard rumors Full Tilt is making a Mac client.

You can get a PC emulator called Virtual PC but it pretty much sucks for anything more than 1 table IMO, and forget about using Pokertracker with it.

I would honestly suggest buying a cheap PC strictly for poker along with your iBook.
