Default B&M Seattle/B.C. Area

Tried searching but did not find exactly what I was looking for.

Are there any casinos in the mentioned areas that have 1/2 NL (or other SSNL) games?

Thanks!

I don't know about BC. In Washington, the only NL game is the 2/5 at Tulalip. It has a $200 buyin. Strictly speaking, it is not NL because due to state law, no single bet or raise can be more than $500. But that doesn't come up much.

In Vancouver, River Rock has both 1/2 and 3/6 no limit. The buyins are $100 and $500.

How many tables do they give the tulalip 2/5 "nl" game? Is the competition tough? (I'm an "intermediate").

Thanks for this extremely helpful info!

I played there for the first time this weekend. Most players at the table were at least decent, but there was one guy with aboug $600 in play when I sat down. He lost this in about 2 orbits calling down massive bets with Ace high.

I ended up trippling up off another dude that pushed w/A3o, I called with AKo, and was overcalled by QQ.

Tulalip has 8 Class III licenses as I understand it, allowing them up to 8 10/20+ and NL tables. The most I've ever seen is 5 NL tables, and they would've opened more but it would've broken the 2 20/40s and the 10/20..

Actually, 10/20 doesn't require a class III license (which is why it can be spread in non-Indian cardrooms in Washington). Class III is needed for poker games where a single bet can be $25 or more. The 10/20 kill games do need class III since it kills to 20/40.

I stand corrected. As I said - "as I understand it" (ie - how it was explained to me..)

Good to learn something every day.

The RR 1-2NL game was recently upped to $200 max buy-in. Cascades in Langley has been running in this way for a while.

Little Creek Casino in Shelton (a little north of Olympia on 101) spreads NL Thursday-Sunday nights usually...
