Default Why do Europeans play on british pound tables?

I mean, just a little common sense here people. When there are a couple of $10-20 tables open and you donkeys are playing 5-10 lb's, I really have to wonder. If I were the Crypto's I would install some Kuwaiti dinar tables just to see how high far these guys would go.

If you play higher limits on Cryptos you should be playing in $US. The max rake is $3 as opposed to 3 Euros or Pounds which is more money. I have not played there is a while so maybe it changed but this was what I figured out quickly. When the Pound was 2-1 it was like playing in a US$6 max rake game.

If the max rake were 3 pesos on the 1k/2k peso tables, would you be playing $100/200 with a $3 max rake?

I've always wondered the opposite.. why would Europeans, especially British, play on sites that use the US Dollar? If I were from England I would only play where I could use the pound because you're getting the best return.

Now I won't play there as an American because it's nearly twice as expensive..

The Us dollar does come close to ruling the world. The point is pretty much the rest of Europe uses the Euro. The pound makes no sense.

but are tables where the players too dumb to figure out that they are paying almost double the rake worth paying that extra rake for in order to play those aforementioned dumb players?

and was it a chicken or an egg that came first?

It was the egg. The first egg's mother was a proto-chicken, read Darwin...

The pound makes a lot of sense and thank god we didnt go into the euro, which we would have been locked into at a quite high exchange rate on a weak currency that is affected by stupid french riots amonst other things. The EU may think we are close to a United States of Europe but personally and thankfully we are way off that.
