Need help with finding good sites. Daytradeingsites are they for real?

I have gotten interested in learning to trade in stocks. I don't know anything about the buissnes, atm. Been thinking about buying the "for dummies" book and some of the books recommended on the forum.

Would need some help with finding some good sites, with good information for a beginner.

Have been trying to find some good information on the internet about this but mostly only get hits on the daytrading sites with their "great" promises of easy money if you follow their charts or whatever it is. Was wondering if any of this is true, does it work. Or are they just trying to scam people.
