Default Cairo poker rooms

Hi

Has anyone any experience of playing poker in Cairo, Egypt ?

Any info would be great ( I´ve done my homework, they have loads of casinos, and "poker" tables. But I´ve no clue what kind of poker)

Cheers,

Der Fuhrer

If he wants to play poker in Egypt why doesn't he just go to the Luxor?

Hello Hello this thread has certainly come alive.
I´m going to Egypt for a few weeks. I have read that (due to it being a muslim country) international hotels are your best bet (no pun intended) for having a few drinks late at night. Well I checked it out and there are a alot of casinos at these hotels in Cairo. Some even say they have poker.
I´m from Iceland, no casinos, no cardrooms. I have to fly across the atlantic ocean to get to the neares B&M cardroom.

Thus, it would not be a better option to fly god knows how many thousands of miles to the luxor in las vegas.
At least, not this time !

So it would be an added bonus to play live
My question is, has anybody played live poker in Cairo ? That, is not against the house, but other players.

=> I´m part german. Icelandic people are mostly (99%) Icelandic, not Irish-Icelandic, African-Icelandic etc..
So I´m called all sorts of names due to my german heritage.
Der Fuhrer being one of them.

So If anybody has experience of casinos in Cairo, any info would be great. Thanks

He's clearly headed to Egypt on an archaeological expedition to unearth the Ark of the Covenant and is looking for something to do in his spare time.
