let's not allow this thread to die just yet. a couple things...

first, here's a song from a sort of one-time project band some friends did. the recording is rough (i think they did it in a guy's basement), but it's pretty good, and probably about the only thing i could contribute to this thread that no one has heard before [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] link: hayes quintet - irrigation

second, how about recommending some stuff for me? here are some hardcore bands that i really like, and the list should give you an idea of what kind of hardcore i like. bands i like:

torn apart
snapcase
endeavor
harvest
earth crisis
throwdown
skycamefalling
walls of jericho
turmoil

that's all i can think of off the top of my head right now, but it should give you a good idea of what i'm looking for. so, recommend away (or better yet, post some songs).
