Anyone invest in TIVO?
Everyone I know who has Tivo loves it and I only see this type of technology growing. The stock is a relatively low price, but has it already reached it's high point?
As you can tell I'm new to investing in stocks, and I usually like to invest in things I know or use. |

Re: Anyone invest in TIVO?
Ditto 4Aces. I thought about investing in TIVO because I thought the technology was promising and TIVO was getting branded well.
The problem is that they don't hold patents for any of the technology they offer, and so other companies can offer the same stuff cheaper. Not only that, but Cable companies are starting to offer their own DVR services with the cost priced into the cable bill. It seems like DVRs will become less like VCRs and more like options for your cable/satelite service. - Jason |

Tivo\'s only hope...
and in turn, its stockholders' only hope, is that it gets bought out. And that isn't likely.
