Default 50+5 KK back to back

2nd hand in a row that Ive had KK. Hit a set on the last hand and took it down with about 1/2 size pot bet.

Is this a standard fold? or should I have done something different???

I like to fire a probe bet...If it's called, I assume that I'm beat and shut it down.

This is really, really bad. With 3 other players and an ace on the board, you need to assume you're beat and check/fold.
