Re: American Hero
[ QUOTE ]
Andy, I seriously believe you're taking your Artest hatred a little far. If you for some reason still believe in this utopian world in which nobody ever gets overheated and loses their temper, even in a public place (which may be MORE understandable), then you seriously need to comtemplate the REAL world for a while. What he did is unacceptable, but understandable, and certainly not worth the entire season suspension he's received. If nothing else, just let it go, man, you'll be ok. FREE ARTEST!!!! -Edge [/ QUOTE ] I think he got off light. Send a message to these thugs. Toss him and the cup-throwing punk both out for good. It's not understandable nor should it be tolerated. It's about personal responsibility and accountability. When you do something wrong, you accept the consequences. He committed assault for crying out loud. He should be in jail. |

[ QUOTE ] It's quite reasonable to condemn what he did yet still think his punishment was extreme. [/ QUOTE ] Im a Brit. I saw footage of this incident on some obscure TV show at 2.30 am this morning. When I saw the punishments/suspension, I thought "Is that all." If an Premier league soccer player did something similar, I doubt he would ever play again in Britain. [/ QUOTE ] for onece I agree with the foreigners...LOL. |
