I dunno calling 2 cold, not closing the action didn't appeal to me.

Maybe I should have bet. Not sure on this one.

You're probably beaten. You're getting about 10:1 though, even calling 2 cold, so I think you need to make the call. You'll be shown a flush often, but you'll sometimes see 97, Q9, etc here, won't you? You're not saving much, in the long run, by folding.

my 2 cents.

You should probably be betting in this spot and calling one raise but folding to 2. When you check, it's harder to figure out what a bet and a raise behind you means.

The reason balkii suggests betting here is that you're going to have to call anyways, and you'll get many more overcalls when your hand is good than you do checking (when it's much more likely to be checked through for fear of a flush). So even though you're an underdog when you get action, you make more by betting.

my 2 cents.

I dunno what came over me, but the flop action screamed flush and straight draws to me. Just foolish overconfidence maybe.

I realized betting was probably the play the moment I folded.

Got shown a straight and a flush, the all-in guy had QJ.
