This is a very routine call, if for only image purposes(not a huge factor but still to be taken into consideration)

I think the flop call is correct. You'll have position on him for the rest of the hand, and players often assume a bet from the last person to act is a bluff. So I wouldn't discount the idea that the MP might be bluffing.
