Default Listening to Music While Playing Poker

Will this improve focus? I would think that listening to com, mellow music might help you stay "in that zone" so to speak. Might keep you more relaxed. Anyone try this, or do it regularly?

I sometimes find listening to heavy techno/metal music helps me get psyched up for a session so I concentrate harder. Other times, it's a bad idea because I get too psyched up and start playing over-aggressive. It's probably very player dependent in any case.

I listen to Stephen Lynch...it puts me in a great mood, plus the rest of the table thinks I'm a moron.

Online I practically need music playing through my headphones at all times.

Live, only sometimes. Mainly tournaments, never cash.

I have Comcast Cable here in MI.

I turn on either Jazz, Modern Classical, or Old School Classical on the Comcast box. It's like channel 430 here.

Or, I listen to my Ipod. I switch it up depending on what I want.
