Conversation with a BOT maker
This guy on a couple of my tables was spamming the room with his bot. I IM'ed him who then gave my screen name to another IM name. Here is the conversation:
PrTyPkRbOi29: hey KrazyM69: u have some illegal bot, I hear? PrTyPkRbOi29: illegal? KrazyM69: yes, bots are illegal PrTyPkRbOi29: oh no... just a assistant KrazyM69: yeah, that's a bot PrTyPkRbOi29: no assistant KrazyM69: how does that work? PrTyPkRbOi29: well it plays 100% solid poker, no tilt, set him on the table and let him play, if u feel like taggin in.,, thats fine, when ur done, he takes over KrazyM69: that's a bot PrTyPkRbOi29: lol, assistant KrazyM69: you know it's illegal, right? PrTyPkRbOi29: mines legal KrazyM69: how is that? PrTyPkRbOi29: just is, all it is is a guide KrazyM69: what is the name of this "guide" or "assistant" PrTyPkRbOi29: its mine, i made it.. no name.. just PKR ASSISTANT KrazyM69: and how much does it cost? PrTyPkRbOi29: 100 KrazyM69: and what are your qualifications to make a bot? KrazyM69: or, I mean assistant PrTyPkRbOi29: qualifications? KrazyM69: you have to be good at cards to program a bot to play cads well PrTyPkRbOi29: good at a computer KrazyM69: so u suck at cards? PrTyPkRbOi29: could i make a successful program if i was no good? KrazyM69: that's what I mean....how good are u? PrTyPkRbOi29: pretty successful I would say KrazyM69: what limits you play? PrTyPkRbOi29: 10-20 15-30 KrazyM69: i see KrazyM69: what kind of results do u guarantee? PrTyPkRbOi29: it will pay for its self the 1st day if you sit down with 100times the small bett KrazyM69: ok, I will get back to u PrTyPkRbOi29: ty KrazyM69: bye

wtf does this mean? that the variance will be enormous? no other reason to tell you to sit with such a roll. ask him if it is a winholdem bot that has been coded up.

Little off topic, but I find it unbelievable that party cannot do something about people spamming at the tables. It was bad enough when it was strategy guides and other things, but bots? Can't they IP ban these people or something? Also, all of these "online beggars" in the high limit games should be insta-banned as well.
