Default Commerce, 400 NL, 4 handed, Blinds 5/10

Commerce, 400 NL, 4 handed, Blinds 5/10

Relevant stacks/reads:

Hero: $650
Button: $1700. This is probably the seventh or eight shorthanded hand we've played, so I'm not sure how valuable reads are here. But Button is the type of guy who would willingly limp in with any two cards that weren't totally ridiculous. He probably had a full ring VPIP of about 60%. He's quite good postflop.

Hero has J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] UTG.

Hero calls $10, Button calls $10, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop (4 players, $40): Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checks around.

Turn (4 players, $40): 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets $60, Button calls $60, Blinds fold.

River (HU, $160): 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Hero bets $120, Button pushes for $460 more, Hero calls.

I'm really only curious about what you think of the size of my turn and river bets.

Unless you were overbet bluffing earlier.... just bet pot on turn.

How about folding to the river raise? It really looks like you're splitting at best if he really is solid.

Also I would fold preflop, even if the table is loose passive preflop, JTo is terrible hand OOP in NL. JTs i like much better.

UTG (pos 3 of 4) in a 4-handed game is not much OOP imo.

This is live poker in a casino right.

Call. I have zero respect for anyone who plays less then 1000NL in a casino, and not much respect there either.

Don't be surprised to see a naked 8, or worse. He could be slowplaying AQ for christs sake, its 400NL in a casino.

Heh, oh yeah, i agree w/ big jim on the turn play, except if they're not paying attention to pot size (i have never played live in a casino, so i don't know how good an idea people have of the potsize..): then i like the idea of building bigger pots by slightly overbetting the pot.

but maybe that's silly.
