Re: for those who play on both a desktop and a laptop
I typically split play between my laptop and my desktop (silly since the desktop has the 2 2001FP's). I just make sure that I save my new laptop hands in a file and transfer it to the desktop using a flash drive once or twice a month.
So my laptop database is a bit incomplete but I cant be bothered to keep transfering back and forth. |

Re: for those who play on both a desktop and a laptop
I use the same database over a network share, but if you mean to use your laptop out and about this is no good to you. Its also a bit of a pain to get PA to properly use the db too. You could just copy the database from your pc and laptop and visa versa when you are home, so you always have the up to date file on the computer you are using at the time. This would require a network connection at home.
