Do you guys play these in a style similar to a regular MTT, or do you start off real tight like you do at the beginning of a one table Sit N Go?

You basically have to play to win like in an MTT. Playing survival strategy of playing tight and staying out of trouble won't work. These are like MTTs on smaller sites.

There tends to be a lot of loose action early on as in any online tournament that is not high buyin. Obviously, I don't get involved in hands without a reason.
