Party losing $ at $25 NL tables because rake threshold wasn\'t lowered?
with .1/.25 blinds, 7 people limping in would not give party any rake since the threshold is still $2.
and i've seen MANY games where people limp preflop, and fold to a min raise on the flop. Why didnt party lower the rake threshold when they changed to 100BB format? |

I think the added action at the new high limit NL tables makes up for it.

Re: Party losing $ at $25 NL tables because rake threshold wasn\'t lowered?
I cleared the bonus on the NEW 25NL tables and did not notice much of a decrease in number of raked hands. I used to see between 75% and 80% raked, this time around it was about 76%. Not a significant difference, but I guess that over the long run it would possiblyimpact their bottom line$, but then again maybe not.

Well in the long run it's a good thing that the rake threshold is higher especially if your not working off a bonus. Also if it's that important for you to have a few more raked hands, just move up the the 50NL and buyin for 25 or whatever you used to buy in for.
