Re: Empire and Party
You need to download the empire software on a 'clean' computer (i.e. one with no party software on it). Then just sign up, you might want to use a different email address just to be safe, u can change it back to the same email you use for party once you've signed up
Also if your planning on signing up at empire you might want to consider getting an affiliate Gahnia radula |

Re: Empire and Party
So, they aren't recoginizing me based on my IP addres? It is simply detecting a previous install of one of the other 2 softwares?
Anyone know a way to edit the registry or isolate and installation of one of the 2? or is it best simply to just uninstall and reinstall each time i switch? |

Re: Empire and Party
I believe the problem is just in the installation of Party(from what I have heard) Most people just uninstall Party, Install Empire, then reinstall Party with no problem. I dont think anyone is constantly installing and uninstalling the software(someone correct me if I'm wrong).

Re: Empire and Party
The conflict is ONLY when you are actually CREATING the account.
Once the Empire account is created (possibly at an internet cafe or friends house, etc.) then you are fine. I have Party and Empire installed and can play both at the same time (separate tables of course) |

Re: Empire and Party
I think they ARE detecting your IP address. I had an existing Party account and was able to sign up at Empire using the computer at my office.
Of course, either theory would account for that. |

Re: Empire and Party
The software actually inserts values into the windows registry. You need to delete these before it'll allow you to register at the other site.
