Default 10/20 AQo Checkup

UTG is 18.9/15.8/2 after 551 hands.
BB is 29.3/8.5/0.82 after 485 hands.

Obviously the Q is a nice river card, but what would my river plan be for other cards?

well, you've represented a small pair or a flush draw, so I would check/fold this river UI after he's called the turn

i say bet the river for value if it blanks. you are getting raised on flop or turn if he has a pair. so his range is a10-ak. thin, but seemingly apparent, value bet.

otherwise your river play doesnt make sense. if you put him on a pair then you should be cring this river.

What's the point of the flop c/r? Nothing is folding on this board, you are presumably behind his range (if not, three-bet pf) and you are often getting reraised here when you are behind, costing you three bets to take a card off when you are only drawing do 3 outs (plus maybe some chop outs vs. AK).

I think you must 3-bet preflop.

I usually 3bet iwth that hand in that kind of spot but I've been leaning away from that and checkraising flops more. I think If you take the second line you're less likely to get [censored] with by someone who doesn't have a pair. He's just called called called, if you checked and he bet you'd call, since you're calling a bet one way or the other just bet it yourself.

This is the ultimate 'if i'm calling i should bet' hand because of the chance of pushing him off AK I think.

Bobbyi, I thought if I checkraised I thought he might give up on missed overcards on the turn. I guess that doesn't really matter since I probably have better overcards or have him dominated. Do you suggest check/calling him down? 3-betting preflop?

I don't understand why you played the hand like this.

If this guy is over aggressive, why not play it call, check/call, check/call, bet the river and win the most lose the least type of play? Check/raising the flop is only going to fold hands that you beat.
