Default No content, not even a stud hand, but....

This is where I post, so here it is. I'm sure there's an appropriate hand converter out there, but I don't feel like looking for it.

First hand in a $30+3 Sit 'n' Go on Stars. Initial stacks are T1500, and the blinds are T10 and T20. Guy limps in early position and someone raises to T110 two off the button, with everyone else folding. I have A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] in the small blind and make it T300. Big blind, apparently citing the seven-percent-in rule, calls. Early-position limper re-raises all-in. All three of us call. The hands:

Early-position limp/re-raiser: TT
Late-position initial raiser: JJ
<font color="green">Andy B</font>: AA
Call-all-bets big blind: KQo

Jack hits on the river and that guy quadruples up. I've seen people go bust on the first hand of these things before, of course, but I don't think I ever had, and I've certainly not seen three people go out quite this quickly.

I've seen some STRANGE all-ins in tourneys latley...

-in a $20+2 10 table SnG, on the bubble, 'natch: I had KK and got all-in PF with two callers: one had AA, the other had... the other KK! talk about drawing dead...

-in a $50 rebuy on paradise, saw a 4 player all-in... AA vs A7s vs A7 vs 77... i think the A7s made a flush.

-10+1 5 table sng, 100/200, in the BB with my last 200 chips with 47s. six callers. flopped a gaddamn SF. OH! YEAH! (busted two hands later, tho)

it's a mad, mad, mad, mad world...

Agreed, in an SNG when it comes to potential big pots, you're more worried about about varience than EV. If you can convince just one of those hands that it might not be worth it you've helped your chances in this tourney significantly.

You never EVER want one of those hands to fold.
