Considering the fact that there are absolutely no ads on this site, I can't see what this person possibly is being reported for. He made a free product that he's not making any money off of that benefits the 2+2 community.

Well, I am not a TOTAL stranger here, although it's been so long since I posted that I don't have my login info anymore. These days I haunt united poker forum (username = bachfan) - you can check out my contributions there.

I couldn't find a spam policy here, but I am not selling anything, and some posters before you said they found my site useful. Anyway, I'm happy to abide by whatever rules you have. Moderate away.

Cheers,
bachfan

Ah, good. You had me worried there. Just ran my exhaustive sims against yours to double check. They all check out. I will run some longer monte carlo simulations to make sure there isn't any real problem there (probably not, but worth a look). I have not focused too much energy on making the monte-carlo faster, but I may do that in the future to allow for longer simulations.

I notice that your page is doing some kind of back query. It would be great if you could get partial results when it does those refreshes.

Nice program, by the way. I think there's plenty room for both of us in the poker world, and if nothing else, it's nice to have some confirmation that my results (might) be correct.

Likewise I'm sure. I've released buggy versions before, so it's always good to get external verification that the bug wasn't on my side.

Cheers,

Don't worry I thought it was spam at first too.

You might want to cross post this in the software forum. You would get good feedback there.

Oh, and this is clearly not spam. There are no affiliate links or anything on the page he linked. If I worked hard to create this, I would want people to check it out too.

Thanks for the program.

Good idea, thank you. I will do that tomorrow when everyone is done digesting their turkey.

I ran a simulation with AA-AT,KK-22,A*s vs 4 random hands.
I then rearranged it as AK-AT,AA-22,A*s vs 4 random hands.

These ranges are equivalent but the results were minutely different. It's probably that they didn't converge at 600,000 hands but you may want to look at it.
