i played a very similar 5-10 hand at the borgata back in the summer: QQ opened utg vs a KK button reraise, KKx flop went check-check, turn Q went bet-call, river blank went bet-push. my feeling at the time was that a decent player would've bet the flop with AK, and would NOT go raising a river brick.

so it goes back to whether you thought he was a donkey or a decent tag, you're giving us contradictory reads. in general i think 3bet-pushing the river like you did is pretty bad against any reasonable opponent.

ummmm ok yeah I contradicted myself but what I mean is that he plays tag style, is a decent player but on the donkish side. Does that make sense or did I just crash the forum with my doubletalk?
