24 hr did this like 5 months ago...it didn't bite because of the lack of limit holdem games, and all of the 2+2 people who go tthe deal bailed..jek will enlighten further..

the 3.00 max rake has nothing to do with what draws players to a site...in this day in age of the boom of the poker ecomony the main attraction is advertising...advertising draws the fish which in hand brings the sharks, which in hands builds the rake...i for one would pay 5 dollars rake if it brought a game full of fish...i personally wouldn't play a game rake free with a game of tight ass sharks..not worth the time..in the end we will see only very few sites survive the long run.

jek bailed. Not everyone did; you're wrong there.
I played a few months (I play PLO) and got a good chunk back. I only stopped cos of the poor game quality; bit tricky aggressive for my meagre BR there (ie, I busted out and haven't rebought). I still think it was a good idea and good deal for the regular player.
