That would seems to increase my chances of both Oakland and Cleveland making the playoffs, which would be excellent. I hope they do.

Is it a bad thing that I saw "Will the Sox collapse" and assumed you were talking about the Red Sox and said "looks like it."

That game against Chicago on Labor Day is hurting them.

Yes it does. But to me, it's been nothing short of amazing that they've been able to hang on as long as they have with mediocre starting pitching(read no ace) and no bullpen.

I'm just hoping that by the time they reach the last series with the Yanks, the Sox won't need a sweep to win it.

Ha I didnt even realize the same thing was happening to bosox. I thought they were cruisin for some reason.

6 versus CLE and 7 versus MIN. Plus 4 at DET.

Looking at that schedule it wouldn't be shocking if the Sox missed out on the playoffs.
