Default Casino Niagara/ Fallsview Casino Update

The opening of the poker rooms are scheduled for January. Two rooms are being made. One at Casino Niagara and one at the new Fallsview casino.

The games are Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha hi/lo, and 7-stud.

The rake is gonna suck ass, 10% - max $5. This includes all limits up to and including 10/20 (it may be $6 at 10/20, I forget). Session fees start at 15/30.

I don't know what NL and PL games there will be, if any.

I'm going to save my bitterness about the high rake for another post in this thread... keep this one positive.

Rake will suck for the low limit games, not the high ones. $5 max is standard so if the stakes are high, most pots will be big enough so that $5 is taken anyways.

No word on any limits at all. Demand usually drives the table limits.

There will be approx 20 tables between the 2 sites so there should be a good range of options.

Like I mentioned in a previous post, the WPT contacted Niagara re. hosting WPT events. I think it's up to the casino execs now.

If it all works out that would be pretty exciting.
