Hero just got raised, fyi, so he can't call a 3bet, because he would be the one 3betting.

It would be nice to know something about the button, but I really doubt it was the 5 that helped him. Most likely you got slowplayed, and are looking either at a flush, at a split with another AK, or at a set.

I might just call, or reraise. It depends.

Yah I agree with ghost. At that level someone may be over betting a random 2 pair they caught. But you have to fear the hearts if your opponent 3 bets you. Howd u end up?

Absent a read that this guy is a maniac or super donk I think just call. Good news is that if you do raise it can't be reraised back to you.

Sorry my read was "bad player" but after this hand my reading is trout.

I think i have been over estimating my opponents, and just going into call down mode too much when i am in front.

He showed 55 for a rivered set, i just called by the way.

So general consensis is three bet and call the cap? If he caps it

I guess I misread the action. It is still read dependent, but a 3bet is going to cost you two bets one you're behind, and only gain you one when you are ahead, assuming you are not up against an uber-donkey. So I personally like the call.

Just add him to your buddy list. Normally you won't be so lucky as to see your opponents playing so badly.
