I think you did ok... nobody to knock out with a raise, calling it down seems fine.

I wouldnt call a preflop raise with that hand.

I might be a bit on the thight side from the BB though.

I would fold this hand to a UTG raise every single time. Am I wrong to do that?
edit: One exception: If 7 or more are in for two bets and I am bb. too tight?

yes you would be, the call is fine, hes getting access to a 11 SB pot with 1 SB, thats 11-1 odds (if my calculations are correct [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) and its worth it to see the flop with and 2 suited given those odds

If I did not have a definite read on UTG, I could call here. PF call with 11-1 seems to be ok, I still fold this sometimes though.

I would have folded to the flop raise though.

Sometimes I get this messed up - but with the bet he would need to put into call - aren't the pot odds 12:1.

Irregardless 11:1 or 12:1 it's definately fine and correct to call this for one more SB PF.

I like the flop bet. I think you bet here in hopes that UTG overplays a hand like AK or AQ and raises for you to knock out some people.

there are 12 bets in all, but one of those best are yours, 11 in the pot before your bet so your 1 dollar gives you a chance to win 11, hence 11-1 although i could also be wrong as ive been confused before

I'm getting something like 14 to 1 to call this. Given that the raise came from someone other than the preflop raiser, this probably means either a set or a two pair. I've got 2 outs if it's a set, and (probably) 5 if it's two pair. There's also the slim chance of a backdoor straight.

On the turn, I've still got Ts and maybe 6s to go with the gutshot outs. Gotta call there, too.

I only called the river because I thought there was a chance the board pairing might have counterfeited his two pair.

Villain tabled KK and I began furiously typing notes in his note box.
