The only thing I dont like about FP2001's, they only do 1600x1200.. I'm a resolution junkie, I cant give up my dual 2048x1536's, 6.3 megapixels ladies and gents.. Monitor 1: 9 tables in a 3x3 grid, just about no overlap. I can see all action buttons, chat windows, cards, and boards. Monitor 2: Lobbys, 2+2, rgp, winamp, PT, IM, etc.. </brag>

I have 2 2001FP's and I play games constantly. I've never seen any ghosting at all on EQ1, EQ2, Guild Wars, or Far Cry. I actually had a CRT hooked up side by side with 1 of these while I was playing EQ, and a few times had a game window going on each monitor. The picture of the 2001fp absolutely destroyed the CRT(19" gateway). I don't think I could play a game on a CRT again.

The only downside is that you'll want to run your games in 1600x1200 if you don't already. Any resolutions under that will cause a sort of cloudy look.

Oh and lastly I hooked up a PS2 and a Gamecube to the 2001fp via the video in slot. The graphics pretty much looked horrible but I think that's because they use a resolution of like 320x200 or something. Everything looked blocky like NES mario on a big screen TV. The colors were definitely something to look at though, and from a distance it looked sweet. If I use the PIP mode which will run your console game in a smaller window on the monitor then it looks really really good(but of course is only about 3").

Hope this helps.

Hey Brian I think there is some high resolution addon you need to get for the Xbox for it to display higher resolutions on hdtvs and monitors, maybe there is the same kind of thing for gamecube/PS2.

Ya, crt's. AFAIK, they dont even have LCD's that go higher than the FP2001 or FPW2005. And if they did, I'm sure they'd be a grand apiece and I'd still stick with the crt's. I'm a cheap bahstahd...

Heavy baloney factor there. CRT's do not all have abysmal refresh rates. Not these days, when 1600x1200 is standard capability on even the cheapest 19-inch CRT's.

I would be very surprised if a CRT was running 2048x1536 at anything higher than 70hz.
