Do I cold call this against an unkown?
Should I raise the flop?
I feel that this whole hand was a complete mess!

I think you might be better served later in the hand if you make it 3-bets before the flop.

Also, if I raise this flop it's so I can check behind on the turn, especially after picking up the gut-shot. There's really only one hand you're ahead of that point.
