Please someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it has something to do with retarded ad servers? If that is true, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a fix for the problem by blocking some domain, but I don't know.

I also find OOT to be the slowest (and sometimes never) loading forum.
I think this may be due to the number of threads listed in OOT (see the number of pages of threads listed at the bottom of the threads list). If you set the Show setting for "active in the last day" this may make the page load faster. [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img] This of course is not to excuse the general lack of speed of 2+2 today, but we all know that [censored] happens.

[/ QUOTE ] mine was slow too but i reallocated some disk for extra swap space and it seems to be making a difference.
