Any hotel recs for AC?

I'm making my first visit to Atlantic City next weekend. I'd like to stay somewhere that is decent/clean/safe, but also reasonably priced. I'm past the age where I can sleep in dicey hotels, and I'm traveling on business, so I need to respect cost.

I don't mind driving into AC from 15-30 minutes out. Anyone have any recommendations or experience they can share of decent places they've stayed in the past?

Comfort Inn in Absecon. Its about a 5 minute drive to the Borg, is clean, not shady, and under $100

The ascot inn has a good location if you dont mind sleeping on a bed of heroin needles.

If you really wanna stay on the boardwalk, the hilton is usually the cheapest. play a couple of hours of video poker, have some classy bottled beer, and they will start comping you weekday rooms whenever you go back. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

(Only thing is you have to not mind being the only one in the hotel/casino under the age of 60)
