Default 5-10 NL: river back door flush

first time posting a hand. not sure that its too interesting. Just tell me to shut up if this is a pointless hand.

4 handed, i'm on the button and have been playing very loose and aggresive. BB has about 500, Villain has 800 i have them covered. Cutoff limps, Hero open raises with QcJc to 40. SB folds, BB and Villain Call.

Flop comes 8 2 5 rainbow with one club.

Check, Check, Check

8 of clubs.

Check Check Check

A of clubs. BB bets 50, Villain raises to 150, Hero pushes all in.

I hate the river push... Also you didn't "open raise", since someone else already open limped...right? I think that's right . Anyways, Pushing here is kinda bad imo. This is just the kind of play that 222 and 555 make, ridiculous slowplays.

i tried to edit that open raise. i guess it didn't work. he ended up having A8. i also didn't mention that villain had called an all in on a previous hand with Ace high and no draw. so i kind of thought he was insane and would call with very marginal holdings. i agree the push is bad though. just wanted to see how bad people thought it was hehe.

I really doubt a worse hand is calling you, after bet-raise-push.

Push yourself in villain's shoes, are you calling with a 9 high flush?

well, obviously the results were bad. villain had A8 and told me after the hand that he was trapping on the flop, and turn.

yeah man, I don't push,
I just call, hoping for overcall. I don't see K8 or smaller flush calling this. Unless they're complete DONKS!
