Default my modest forway into video land

I broke down to temptation and made a video, which you can access here.

Because I didn't know what I was doing, the first couple of minutes are a bit bizarre, with alternate images coming into view. But it settles down later.

And I purposely made some strange moves, just to stimulate discussion. Actually, I kind of feel that the videotaping may have caused some weirdness.

Anyway, flame away.

Ok video, I'd say if you record one table... Pause your recorder whilst you have junk preflop(Or speed it up).

other than that, was ok.

Forway. Ha. Pretty funny. But believe me, it was just a typo.

And don't worry about PokerAce, POKher. I just bought it. Next I'll have to figure out how to pause/speed up. I was hoping there was a way simply to edit and delete whole sections, but if there is it, it's way beyond me.

I'm new to the datamining/pokerace thing.. I played a lot of 5/10 without it (AND without PT).. it pretty much rules. I was adverse to it at first because I thought it'd impair my read making ability, but as long as you don't become super lazy and look at just the stats to base every play off of, it's very helpful. Still be dilligent and take notes, though.

i hate card/chip animations, and they never translate well to video. If you're multitabling, you're really eating into your decision time if you're waiting an extra second or so to see your card or the flop. Give it a try, you'll never go back.

I'll have to try that. Funny, it never occurred to me before.

Okay just watched 2 min of it for a sec, will watch more later...what u really need to do, is record with Camtasia, maybe u did here, dunno. But it allows u to edit videos pretty easily in which u can cut the fat from your video. Speed it up 2x the speed, as soon as u fold a hand preflop have it cut to the next hand. Give it some snap and make it so much easier to watch.

PM me for the hookup if u do not have this program.

One hand I saw...K5o on the button. Folded to u. (4handed.) Steal with this hand. If the game is tight/aggressive or has lots of semibluffing or sb will re-raise a lot, then move the standard to K7o for that game.

PS. Also u should turn off card animation, well u dont have to. I started doing that forever ago, and no I cant play with animation anymore.

Just go to preferences, in CAMTASIA(Which i use) if you hit F9(dont hit f10 by accident ) it will pause the recording.

So when you get 72o... Hit pause. Next hand... T2o... keep it pauses. KJs comes up and unpause it.

Sorted
