Default Should I move up to a higher limit table?

Hey!

I thought I might drop by to ask for some opinions.

I've been playing at pacific-poker for 3 months now
(5c/10c table) and my BB/100 is about 16.5BB/100. I have a history 6000 hands. So, should I stay at 5c/10c a little bit longer or do you think I can manage 25c/50c?

Personaly I feel I'm doing quite alright, but... I don't know. Maybe I need to play a little bit longer to see how things develop. Or 16.5BB/100 is pretty standard for an average player?

Thanks for reading my boring post, good luck!

Move up if you have enough bankroll, I doubt very much the skill difference between those leves is big.

Take a shot and see how it goes. If your bankroll falls below 300 big bets or so for the lower limit ($30) drop back down. That way if things don't work out you don't go broke.

I don't play your limits but 16bb/100 is likely not sustainable at any limit. You are almost surely on a gigantic heater.

.05/.10 > .25/.50 is probably the biggest leap you'll take.

The game changes, table selection becomes more important...

Playing good poker becomes even more so, but theres still A WHOLE LOTTAAAA FISH!

Enjoy, I guess you have $150 now?

There's affiliates around that'll give you some free money if you sign up on Partypoker. Search recgroups.com, or google I guess. Or follow me around for a while. Eventually I will drop enough money to bankroll you in a .50/1.00 game. Just kidding, I'm dead broke. Actually, like 90,000 in debt.

16.5 BB/hour is higher than you can reasonably expect, even against the totally clueless players at your microlimit .5/.10 tables. You are running lucky, and this win rate will go down somewhat even if you stay at your current tables.

I suggest you go to partypoker, and play the beginner's tables there. They have .15/.30, .25/.50, and .50/1.00. All should be easily beatable, only players within their first 45 days at partypoker can play there, so they have only the worst players.
