I disagree, but you already know that.

Evan,

Why do you think it's horrible against a 40%pfr? I'd 3-bet personally but I don't think cold-calling is as bad as you're saying.

Al...I think postflop is fine.

Okay, maybe I'm jsut expressing myself poorly. So far I've talked to 2 people about this and the concensus has been "I'd 3 bet but calling is okay." In my mind if the right answer is easy to see, making to wrong decision is very bad. That doesn't mean you're giving up a ton of money, just that you're thinking poorly, and that is really bad imo. Some people seem to disagree I guess, whatever.

I like the postflop, but the preflop I think you really need to 3-bet. Take control and knock out the blinds so on the hands you don't flop 2 pair you have a much better chance of winning. I orginally thought calling was best at first until I really thought about it

I don't feel that the preflop cold call is that bad at all. I don't feel that folding was an option here, KQ, even offsuit, is plenty strong enough to call a raise from someone who raises 40% of hands. With any top pair I'm going to the river against this guy. Reraising or not-reraising might be more of a debate here, but still, in this game, reraising wouldn't have narrowed the field at all. So do you want to give them TERRIFIC post-flop odds or just pretty good? It's not really much different than six of one, half dozen of the other. I prefer to keep the pot smaller then, no point is jacking it way up, and also increasing my preflop variance, till I see the flop.

You gotta remember, this ain't 15-30, this was LOW limit.
