That pocket 4's hand was awesome [/ QUOTE ] I'm really surprised he dodged that J, Q, or 10 there. Great hand. |

[/ QUOTE ] Well... stacks were pretty extreme, and also: equity (%) win (%) tie (%) Hand 1: 57.0228 % 56.26% 00.77% { 44 } Hand 2: 42.9772 % 42.21% 00.77% { random } Throw in stacks and the prize pool for second, and I fold this a lot. |

Re: Final Table Stars $150
ok so he's 56% and theres BB's money in the pot, and if he wins he's in contention for first, ,and when he loses he still isn't shortstack (or if he is, it's close)

Re: Final Table Stars $150
I think that is a fairly straightforward play personally, I dont think there are too many advanced concepts in play here. I am trying to obtain 40K more in chips with relatively little risk against a villian who could be playing any two. I am pushing in an attempt to iso against the shortstack and keep the big stack from coming back over the top of me. Fairly straightforward I don't see the problem anyone has with it.

[ QUOTE ] Christ, man, explain the 44 play to us mortals. I'dve folded that very quickly. [/ QUOTE ] How come?? buttons range was any two there.. [/ QUOTE ] There was also the timing of his bet. He hesitated for a few seconds. To my mind that makes hands in the top 5% a tiny bit less likely and hands in the next 30% or so considerably less likely. Not that it really matters, I think it's a clear overpush pretty much no matter what. |
